Our brand
name, 'Texas Wild', says it all !!
Texas Jams and Jellies
The best in gourmet and specialty
foods in Fredericksburg, Texas and the Texas Hill Country are found at
Meier Ranch Foods. Texas Wild originated in 1994 by making products from
wild Texas plants to sell to retail outlets. The original products
included jellies made from Agarita berries, mesquite beans, cactus pear
apples, mayhaw berries, wild mustang grapes and of course, Hill Country
peaches. Our newest jelly, Mustang Grape, no sugar added, has been well
received by people conscious of their dietary restrictions.

Spicy Food
The demand for spicy, tangy foods
has increased dramatically in the last few years. What was an original
Texas taste has now grown into a nationwide taste sensation. A local
favorite in the Hill Country was jalapeno jelly. With the original recipe
in hand, we added strawberries, raspberries and also the native Texas
pecan to our basic jalapeno jelly.
Famous Salsa
We have since put together many
other original recipes and added other favorite Texas foods to our food
line. No meal is complete without the famous Texas Wild salsas. As an
appetizer ,or an ingredient to spice up a favorite family recipe, we have
flavors that will satisfy the most discriminating taste buds. We started
with the Roasted Garlic Salsa, quality garlic grown and harvested on the
ranch in the Texas Hill Country. For the consumer that wants more heat -
our Salsa Roja and Salsa Verde are made with on the finest of jalapeno
peppers, no tomatoes are added. And no line of salsa would be complete
without the distinctive taste of the habanero pepper. We also have milder
salsas, our Picante and Salsa Ole. The Salsa Ole is our newest flavor
sensation/ a blend of black beans and corn that simply has to be tasted.
Many a customer has said that they have made a meal out of this salsa and
it is fast becoming a favorite with our 'winter Texans' due to the mild
flavor.

Uniquely Texan Foods
In the true style of Texas, no
condiment tray is complete without Texas Wild Armadillo Eggs - also know
as olives stuffed with jalapeno peppers. For the sweet tooth, we also have
Sweethots, or Jalapeno Dulce. These are jalapeno peppers marinated in a
sweet sauce that will satisfy that urge for a sweet fix with a bite of
jalapeno.

Barbecue Sauce
Texas is well know for barbecue
with some of the best tasting meat in the world cooked on mesquite fires.
Nothing compliments the meat as well as Texas Wild Barbecue Sauces. Not
only do we have our original blend, but we have added native Texas pecans
to our other unique flavor. Take a walk on the Texas Wild side, try any of
our unique, delicious products, your taste buds will say 'More!!!"

| "I have never sent a complimentary comment to a food company in my life, but you guys deserve to know that your Jalapeno Dulce slices are the hit of our family...we got a jar from the general store in New Ulm at the insistence of a relative and we love them. We
live in Sugar Land and would like to know if you stock them anywhere near us...I'll go back to New Ulm if I have to because one of these pepper slices on a Ritz cracker with cream cheese is just about the best snack I have ever tasted...keep up the good work."

| "Thank you for promptly sending this! My son-in-law is in the Navy, stationed (when not at sea) in Honolulu. He absolutely loves the bread & butter jalapenos, as do we. Thanks again, we'll order more from you soon." PS: We have tried other from Fredericksburg, but they do not come close to the flavor and quality of
your products and were quite mushy!
